For thousands of years, people around the world have used aromatic plants, incense, and smoke to mark moments, create sacred space, connect with spirit, cleanse, meditate, pray, and simply change the atmosphere around them.

This weekend, we're going to explore the art of smudging from several different perspectives—history, science, culture, plants, personal practice, and creativity.
